Dear Homeschooling Families,

Another school year has begun and we pray you’re all off to a great start. Hopefully your summer break was enjoyable and refreshing, leaving you energized for an exciting school year.

We contacted Pastor Ralph Gibson about using Shell Point Baptist Church again this year for our homeschool meetings and he has graciously agreed. Our first meeting will be Monday September 29 at 6:30 pm.

At this month’s meeting we will address the topic: Praying for your Homeschool. Prayer is a vital part of the Christian life and is extremely important for the Christian homeschooling family. Experiences and prayers from the book
Prayers for Homeschool Moms, by Michele Howe will be shared. Reviews about the book:
"In my twenty-one years of homeschooling, I have talked with all the moms Michele has written about. Veterans and beginners will not only find themselves in Prayers for Homeschooling Moms but will also find encouragement to water their souls." — Jessica Hulcy, coauthor of KONOS Curriculum, national speaker, and homeschooling mom

"Michele Howe presents realistic struggles and scenarios home educators can relate to all too well, then takes them by the hand and leads them to the ideal response: intimate dialogue with Jesus. Prepare to be challenged, convicted, comforted,— even contemplative— as you pray the prayers of a homeschool mom." — Ann Kroeker, author, The Contemplative Mom: Restoring Rich Relationship with God in the Midst of Motherhood

We hope you will come out and be a part of this meeting and again support for your homeschool.
